Paco Nathan
Director of Community Evangelism at Databricks
Paco Nathan is the Director of Community Evangelism at Databricks, working on Apache Spark. He's also an O'Reilly author ("Enterprise Data Workflows", "Just Enough Math") and an advisor for Amplify Partners. Known as a "player/coach", he has led innovative Data teams building large-scale apps for several years. Educated at Stanford, plus 30 years technology industry experience ranging from Bell Labs to early-stage start-ups. Paco has expertise/interests in distributed systems, machine learning, functional programming, cloud computing.
